You don't look any different than before. You might not have any of the symptoms yet.
You might feel more tired and perhaps a bit nauseous.
Your heart rate increases.
Your breasts get bigger and may feel a lot more sensitive.
What to do:
Tiredness – Rest and sleep as much as you need to. Don't try to fight the fatigue.
Nausea and morning sickness – Have small and frequent meals. Nibble on dry toast and crackers.
Your baby:
From week 8, your baby is no longer an embryo. He or she is now a foetus. His heart has started beating and this can be seen on an ultrasound scan. His or her fingers and toes are developing although still slightly webbed.
