Makes 72 pieces
Ingredients:
A
1 ¼ cup self-raising flour
¼ cup rice flour
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup Nestum Original
200g butter or margarine
¼ cup caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
chopped milk chocolate bar
melted cooking chocolate
red colour sugar beads
Method:
Sift together Ingredients A; then stir in Nestum Original; mix well and set aside.
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla essence until fluffy. Add egg and beat well.
Fold in flour mixture and mix well until it forms a soft dough.
Make into small balls and press chopped chocolate in the centre and cover with dough. Or press into small pattie tins, make a hole in the centre and cover with dough.
Bake in preheated oven at 180ºC for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let stand for 20 minutes.
When cookies cold, decorate with melted chocolate and sugar beads.
