There is no greater thrill than stumbling upon a spooky house situated far away and deep in the countryside. What more when you discover that the creepy old building is your new home.
Nine-year-old Roxy Hunter (Wallace), her mum Susan (Brule) and 11-year-old friend Max (Joyette) move into such a mansion.
Hunter is a precocious child and quite funny too - traits that are brought out quite effectively by Wallace.
A group of baddie kids tells Hunter and Max that their new home is haunted. Max refuses to believe in ghosts whilst the plucky Hunter is only piqued further into investigating into the world of the paranormal.
Although this 2007 movie has been billed as a movie for the entire family, especially children, I found some of the scenes overly childish. -
