Cartoon Network is launching Toon Football which kicks off on March 15 at www.toonfootball.com.
You can create your own avatar and play games and practise shooting some goals with the help of your mouse. Oh yeah, your kids might enjoy playing, too.
With this free online game, players can challenge family, friends or other teams. Each team will comprise four friends or family members and one Toon player (choose from your favourite Cartoon Network characters including Chowder, Dexter or Four Arms).
All of this “training” will culminate in the Toon Cup 2010, much like the World Cup 2010 being held in South Africa in June except this one involves no mud, muscle or televised matches at 4am.
Toon Cup 2010 is scheduled to take place in May with the qualifying rounds running in April. The top eight point earners will make it to the play-offs, which are scheduled for May 1-9, with one winning team heading to the regional Toon Cup 2010 final. So get behind Malaysia and go for the glory, it’s time to play Toon Football!
