Students from primary and secondary schools in and around Cyberjaya recently participated in Cyberview’s inaugural CerDig (Cerita Digital) workshop at SMK Cyberjaya, SK Dengkil, and SK Taman Seroja.
The workshop promoted active learning through a series of hands-on activities where students and teachers told a story using digital media.
About 100 students from 13 primary and secondary schools participated in the CerDig workshop. Students started by writing and editing their own short story. Storyboards were then developed with images and videos put together to express their stories.
The workshops were held over a period of three days in each of the three schools, with Cyberview-sponsored learning modules for PhotoScape, Audacity, Adobe Premiere and web development software. The sessions ended with students presenting their final work followed by a short question-and-answer session regarding their stories.
