Gardner & Wife Theatre is bringing in a new show for kids this March. The show is called The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark and it's from Britain's Blunderbus Theatre Company.

Plop, the baby barn owl, journeys into the night-time world of campfires, fireworks and moonlit adventures. It is based on the bestselling children’s classic by Jill Tomlinson and performed by UK's Blunderbus Theatre Company.

There is live music, puppetry and storytelling – perfect for children aged three to seven.

As Plop learns about the dark – how it's fun, kind, exciting, fascinating and beautiful – children will also hopefully learn to get over their fear of the dark.

The Penang tour will kick off Gardner & Wife Theatre’s 2012 season in the newly-opened penangpac at Straits Quay.
