Universiti Putra Malaysia is organising a parenting programme called Parenting the Young One in Penang from March 3-April 8.

It is for parents with preschoolers who are having issues with their child's behaviour and would like advice on:

- Encouraging appropriate behaviour;
- Managing problematic behaviour;
- Improving parenting skills;
- Dealing with risky behaviour; and
- Improving the parent-child relationship.

The programme will be conducted at Dewan JKKK, Taman Inderawasih, Prai, and it is free (under a research grant from the Research Universiti Grant Scheme, UPM).

The dates are:
March 17-April 7 (every Saturday, 9-11am - English class)
March 18-April 8 (every Sunday, 9-11am - Chinese class)
